Scifest 2017

20/11/2017

Congratulations to our young scientists of 5th and 6th Class on winning Scifest 2017 in the Community College! The pupils had strong competition from all the local schools and they were delighted with the result! The classes put forward two separate projects:
1) The Density of Liquids
2) The Durability of Paper Towels
A huge amount of preparation went into the two projects put forward on the day. The children learned many scientific facts, as well as carrying out several experiments, background research and surveys. Many thanks to Ms. Behan who helped the children turn their surveys and data into charts for the projects.
