Good Luck to all our pupils from 3rd class to 6th class who are involved in the Sports Hall Athletics competition tomorrow Wednesday February 25th in Ballymahon.

Our sincere thanks to the Parents' Association for the delicious pancakes today. It was a real treat for both pupils and teachers alike. 

Hip Hop classes begin on Monday February 24th and will run for 6 weeks up to Easter. The classes cost 12€ per pupil for the 6 weeks. 

The Credit Union Schools Quiz takes place on Sunday February 2nd at 3pm in Ballyleague Hall. We have 3 teams entering this competition and we wish all our teams the very best of luck.

Lanesborough Community Games are planning to take part in the following events over the coming months:
Chess : Mr Lyons, Lanesborough Community College is organising U13 chess practice for Community Games on Thursday Jan 23rd at 7pm in the Community College.
​Art, Modelmaking & Handwriting, multiple age grades Boys & Girls: Sunday February 2nd in St Mary's Parish Hall from 5pm to 8pm. 
Basketball : U11/U13 Boys & Girls : Closing date Feb 14th
Swimming : Multiple age grades Boys & Girls. Closing date March 7th. Swimming event will take place on 21st March in The Mall Swimming Pool, Longford. Contact Teresa Ryan (087-8049828) for further details

Community Games U14 Quiz : If your child is interested in participating for Lanesboro in the Community Games Quiz, please contact Anne Maxwell at 086-2464898.To qualify as U14 under Community Games rules, your child must be aged 13 or under, up to and including July 31st 2020. County Final takes place on Feb 28th in the Rustic Inn at 7pm.
Table Tennis : U13 Boys or Girls, at least 3 per team; Closing date for entries Feb 21st
Indoor Soccer U10/U13 Boys or Girls; at least 5 per team; Closing date March 7th
Talent Competition: Multiple Age Grades, Boys & Girls(Individual or Group) ; Closing date April 24th. This covers Group Comedy/Music/Singing or Solo Singing/Recitation/Music/Dancing
