The Christmas Carol Service takes place on Thursday December 12th at 6.30pm in St Mary's Church.

Draughts Community Games Practice takes place on Sunday Nov 24th from 5pm- 6pm in St Mary's Parish Hall. If your child would like to participate please come along. There are 4 age categories for Draughts : U 10/U12/U14/U16.
​Adult volunteers are also needed to assist with the coaching. 
Registration for 2020 is available on the night. Cost is €5  per child or €10 per family. This covers both insurance and club membership for the year for all Lanesboro Community Games events.

Indoor Athletics in conjunction with Longford Sports Partnership for 3rd to 6th class begins on Monday November 18th and will run for 3 weeks in St Mary's Hall.

Sci-Fest took place today in Lanesborough Community College. Mr Corr and his team of 5th & 6th class Scientists attended. Congratulations to Mr Corr, Euan, Ronan, Amelia, Malwina, Florence and Mella on winning the overall competition for Primary Schools.

Parent Teacher Meetings will take place on Thursday November 21st & Thursday November 28th. Further details will be sent out. School will close on both days at 2.45pm to facilitate the meetings

GAA Coaching begins on Thursday Nov 7th and will run for 6 weeks.

ICT classes begin on Tuesday Nov 5th and will run for 7 weeks. Cost of class is 26€

Enrolment for the sacraments for pupils in second class and 5th & 6th class takes place on Saturday December 7th 2019 at 7.30pm mass,.
