Infants, 1st and 2nd class will perform at Assembly this month. Parents of Infants to 2nd Class pupils are invited to join us at at 1pm in the Co-Op Hall.  Children in all classes are invited to dress up on Friday 27th October. School will close at 3pm on Friday 27th October for midterm break and will re-open on Monday 6th November at 9.20 am.

The school's Code of Behaviour for pupils and Code of Conduct for parents is being reviewed presently. Pupils will be reviewing the code in class with their class teacher. Parents signed the Code last year and this is being kept on file. However  there were some that were missing. If you receive the Code from the school please read it, sign and return it to the school. The Code of Conduct for Parents can be read on the Parents' page.

The lucky boys and girls in 5th and 6th class had a brilliant time at the 'Taste of the Lakelands' festival today in Lanesborough. They were taken under the wing of expert chef and food blogger Matthew Luca and shown how to make pizza and pasta. With the help of some of our past pupils from Lanesborough Community College and their home economics teacher the children got to make and eat their own pizza as well as trying their hand at making their own spaghetti! Some very happy teachers even got to sample their delights!

Lanesborough Primary School will reopen for the coming school year on Tuesday August 29th at 9.20am. School for new Junior Infants will finish at 12noon. Senior Infants finish at 2pm. All other classes finish at 3pm.
