Learning about China

We learned about China in November. We learned that Pandas live in China. These are our collages of Pandas which we made using crepe paper. Can you see the green bamboos behind them?
We also made some Chinese fans, which rich and powerful people use to show their wealth.

Winter Weather

We had great fun mixing paint to create different shades of blue. Here are some of the Winter skies we painted using brushes and sponges.

Do you hear the pitter patter? Hear the raindrops falling down? Don’t worry, our umbrellas will keep us dry!

Christmas is Coming!!

Christmas concert preparations kept us very busy! We had great fun trying on the costumes.

Christmas Tree Art

We created Christmas trees using hand prints and decorated them with bottle-corks. Aren’t they lovely!

St. Brigid's Day

To celebrate St. Brigid’s day we learned about how St. Brigid asked the King for some land to build a church on. He agreed to give her as much land as her cloak could cover. Her cloak grew and grew until it was the size of a church.

Learning about Africa in Art, Music and SESE!

Over the past few weeks we have been learning all about Africa. We made our own African necklaces and Djembe drums, look how colourful they are!
