Wear something Orange to celebrate.
On Monday May 9th we will celebrate Europe/Global Citizen Day. This day is to celebrate all the children in our school who come from different nations across both Europe and also the world. We encourage all children to wear a jersey from their home country or the colours of their own country. Please bring in a flag from your country .   Latvia: Sveicam Eiropas dienā.  Lanesborough Primary School is dedicating the week beginning May 2nd to Well-Being Week. Daily activities are being timetabled for each classroom to highlight the necessity of looking after our well-being. Strategies will be introduced to the children to help them look after their own well-being. This initiative is part of our application for the Amber Flag.
 In connection with our application for the Amber Flag we are planning to hold a Darkness into Light Walk during school hours on Friday May 6th. We encourage all pupils to wear yellow in support of the Walk. Parents may wish to send in a contribution and we will ensure that all funds donated will go directly to Pieta House.
 A Drumming Workshop will take place on Wednesday May 4th for all classes.
 Golfing lessons will begin on Monday April 25th & will run for 5 weeks. Cost is €10 per pupil.
