It's EU Code week in our school! The Infants programmed the Bluebots to help them in Literacy and in Numeracy today. Junior and Senior Infants are really enjoying the different Literacy stations in Mrs Guckian's room! Junior and Senior Infants had a fantastic time sorting shapes today. They were very excited to learn about a new shape called a hexagon! Junior and Senior Infants had a parade around our school for St Patrick's Day!  Junior and Senior Infants got onboard the Story-train at Lanesboro Library with Penny the Ladybird Lady! Wee had such fun hearing stories about mischievous fruit having a disco! The Infants are celebrating the arrival of the season of Spring with this fantastic artwork! Comhghairdeas! The Infants had the opportunity to create art pieces using their imagination. Aideen Mc Hugh with the Creative Schools Initiative will be working with us to foster creativity in our school. |
