 Confirmation takes place in St Mary's Church, Lanesboro on Wednesday April 10th at 3pm. We hope all our pupils in 5th & 6th are filled the gifts and fruits of the Holy Spirit, and that you have a wonderful day with your family and friends.
 Welcome to February 2024. This year is a Leap year and so there are 29 days in February.
 February 2024 is our Attendance Month. During the month of February we will be aiming to improve our attendance throughout the whole school. We will post a powerpoint publication here for you to view to learn about the importance of attending school every day.
 School will be closed on Thursday Feb 15th & Friday Feb 16th for the mid-term break. School reopens on Monday February 19th. Enjoy the long weekend.
 We are delighted that our application for the project 'Say Yes to Languages' was successful. So, beginning on Jan 16th we will have 8 weeks of French Language classes for 3rd -6th class with Aldina Fernandes. We are looking forward to learning French but also about France and the customs and culture of the French people.
 Thank you all for supporting our Christmas Jumper for St Vincent de Paul. We have raised in excess of €200. Check out our facebook page, Lanesborough Primary School to see the style of all the classes. Wear your Christmas Jumper on Friday December 15th and bring in €2 to raise funds for St Vincent de Paul.
